How To Commission a Painting

Commissioning a painting perfect for you is easier than you think!. I generally work from photos either mine or yours and we talk about and decide which size, shape, composition, colours etc you want and go from there. Often I get requests for paintings previously sold and use them as a starting point for commissions changing details as requested.

Once we have decided on the commission and you are ready to go ahead I will send you a confirmation of details and an invoice via square. I require half of the agreed upon final price accept in the case of small work 200.00 or less which requires full price. To get an idea of pricing please have a look at my website.  Custom sizes are possible.

I will send you photos towards the end of the painting to make sure the painting works for you, at this point you are welcome to request some tweaks to ensure you are happy with it.

There are no returns on commissions once accepted. Please measure your space to ensure the right fit.

I welcome any questions.

Shipping/delivery to be discussed depending on location.

TESTIMONIALS

"I commissioned Coral Barclay to paint three horse portraits for my daughter (an avid rider and horse lover), giving her complete creative control over the process.  Coral’s captivating artwork exceeded my expectations—her paintings will form the foundation of the design in my daughter’s bedroom.

As an interior designer, I am always looking for partners with whom to work and collaborate.  I am confident that I will be working with Coral again in the future, particularly in the design and execution of bespoke artwork for my clients."
